Yes, I can speak mandarin. Being that I'm african american I don't think she took me seriously. Compared to the other girl who said no, she thought she answered more honestly. So upon hire when I was able to put my mandarin to good use, she was shocked and then told me not to speak it because she didn't want anyone to get offended if I wasn't speaking mandarin to the correct group of people.
