Managers had the mindset that working remotely is too difficult for an account executive. AirWatch never offered remote positions in the past and so they were new to that structure. The only reason they started with remote positions is due to VMware's recommendation. VMware always had remote sales execs which works effectively. AirWatch needs to get with the times as most companies today offer remote sales positions. Train a person properly and there shouldn't be any issues. If an employee needs assistance then that person would contact the internal resources. It's not rocket science!
