Took a while. Very thorough, but DM kept getting pulled away for other issues. Interview lasted about 3 hours total, including the interruptions. Discussed previous experience, and options on different situations that have occurred at different local stores. Discussed previous salary, discussed loss prevention issues, and discussed staffing. All in all, very thorough.

The interview process was minimal and largely informal. The initial conversation with the regional leadership consisted of a brief phone call, and there was limited direct interaction with district management prior to starting. In fact, I did not meet the district manager until after onboarding and training, and did not meet the regional director in person until several months into the role. Overall, the hiring process felt more like a fast placement based on experience rather than a structured multi-step interview process.
