      *In over a decade of experience of interviewing with multiple companies and generally positive experiences interviewing regardless of result, this by far is the most disrespectful process I have been part of and would not recommend investing time with Doordash* Step 1: Quick interview with recruiter Step 2: Data analytics exercise Step 3: Interview with potential team members The key step I want to highlight is step 2. They send a 18K row file asking for insights and recommendations based on the data. They ask for a 48 hour turnaround. The data file they send has thousands of rows of blank cells, logic errors, bad formatting, and general bad data. Cleanup of the file and the final deliverable took easy 8 hours and I consider myself advanced in data/story telling. They send the same exercise regardless if they are hiring an analyst or senior level manager. After sending the deliverable back, I received a note the next day saying that they are not moving forward and that "unfortunately we are unable to provide feedback from the interview process". This is incredibly disrespectful of the heavy amount of time invested up front in this process. They clearly have had many people ask for why/feedback before and send this response before you get the chance to ask for feedback. If they treat potential hires like this during the hiring process, how do they treat you when you are actually part of the company?

      They reached out to me (cold) for a phone screen and then didn’t reply to set up availability until I reminded them. I asked for a job description and was ignored. The phone screen switched to a zoom call and he dove into interview questions - a pre interview to decide if he wanted to interview me. I found it to be really pompous, and disrespectful of my time - like they liked to catch people off guard.

      Poor interview process. Recruiter contacted me to chat. Informed me that they would be sending me an assessment to take and moving me on to the next steps. Ultimately recruiter did not send an assessment and after multiple follow-ups, got ghosted. Company has a reputation of ghosting you mid-process, buyer beware.
