The initial few steps in the interview process were quick because I applied through a friend's referral link. Step 1 was with the recruiter which was initial screening regarding the job description, salary, benefits etc. Step 2 was a call with the hiring manager which went well. Step 3 was a take home assignment. This was an extremely elaborate assignment that required lots of time, research, and creativity, plus lots of elements to include. including the weekend, i had 4 days to submit. I Was asked to submit this assignment via email and not given an opportunity to present it. After submission, radio silence for 2 weeks, followed up 3 times, heard back finally saying they chose to not move forward with my application. No specific reason or feedback was given. I suspect they hired someone internally.
