You get a call from an internal HR, they ask for your salary expectations and then ghost you. I see mainly two reasons why someone would do that. Either they do not have the courage or have never practiced courtesy. This is a bullet dodged and I am glad the process did not go any further. Just a warning for others.

The interview process consisted of two rounds. The first round was a technical interview covering relevant skills and experience. The second round was an HR interview focusing on communication, background, and overall suitability.
