At the time I started, all new hires were hired through temp services. Now they are hired direct and you go to the Duke Energy Website to apply. Classes for new hires are frequent; usually every couple of months, or so.

Submit resume, take online test, if pass and your selected, will receive phone interview. After phone interview, if selected will receive offer letter. If accept offer, must submit background and drug test information.

It was nice. They asked me a few questions about my experience with taking calls. They offered me a few options for the shifts available, once I got the job. Everyone was nice and inviting.

asked what did i know about duke? then ask regular interview questions and took notes as i spoke. maybe about 9 questions nothing too hard. then told me about the company and position, and asked if i had questions. i put no offer because i just interviewed a couple days ago and was told i’d hear something in two weeks. pretty good interview so i’m confident that i got the position.
