I received an email from HR requesting an interview with the hiring manager. I was then asked to submit work samples and schedule a panel interview. It was obvious during the panel interview that they had already decided on which applicant they wanted to hire and we’re going through the motions. They did not follow up after the final interview nor respond to my timely thank you email.
