Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 2 meses. Fui entrevistado pela Duke Energy (Charlotte, NC) em fev. de 2025
Entrevista
Multiple Zoom/Teams calls with one [long] in-person panel interview. I didn't get an offer, but it's highly unlikely I'd have accepted anyway. They waited until the very end of the long, in-person interview (which I took a day off work for) to mention that they wouldn't be able to offer the desired salary I put down in my application. This was the second time that Duke has pulled that trick on me (first time I received an offer and declined), so it feels like this is standard practice. It seems very unprofessional and I'll definitely think twice before applying to another role as a result.

What python packages did you use on that project from 3 years ago?
First was a Phone interview, and an online quiz. The interviewer was courteous and told me it was contract to hire and set up the online quiz.
I passed them all and then was the last round of video interview. Hiring director and developers were all courteous. There was a another interviewer who is a middle manager spent time bragging that he was the 2nd data scientist. This individual also lacked courtesy and was bringing up things that were not required as per the job description. Naturally concerned me about working there due to this individual.
