After clearing this round, an assessment was provided, where a documented write-up on a cybersecurity topic was required based on independent research. This evaluated understanding of core concepts, clarity of thought, and ability to articulate technical information. This was followed by a technical interview focusing on key areas such as vulnerability assessment and penetration testing (VAPT), networking fundamentals, incident response, and common web application vulnerabilities including SQL injection, cross-site scripting (XSS), and authentication-related issues. The discussion also covered familiarity with security tools such as Nmap, Burp Suite, Metasploit, and Wireshark, along with scenario-based questions to assess practical knowledge and problem-solving approach. The overall process was structured and aligned with industry expectations, with interviewers maintaining a professional and technically focused approach throughout.
