Job posting only required 2+ years of contract drafting experience (of course also including typical bachelor's degree, JD and bar-admitted). I have been practicing for 4+ years as a corporate transactional attorney. Had a first round screening interview during which the interviewer barely touched on or asked about my work experience, and when I got a follow up email a few days later, I was told they were looking for someone with more experience. Make it make sense.

I first interviewed with an HR representative then interviewed with the hiring manager and both of those were virtual interviews. The interview with the hiring manager was a great experience overall. It was clear that she was familiar with my resume and her questions were well focused. It was a discussion that made me comfortable explaining and expanding on my background and experience. I thought it was one of the better conducted interviews I have ever had.
