I was referred to Edward Jones in January and received a call from a recruiter. After some email exchanges, I stopped receiving replies. Finally, about a month later, I got a response that he was on military leave, but I never got an out of office or referral to another recruiter. At that point, I was given a name of the main recruiter for the position I applied for, but after having reviewed the position, it was reposted and changed description. I no longer qualified. So I chose a different position and was transferred to a different recruiter. She was less than responsive, also out of office. After emailing and cc'ing multiple times, I FINALLY got an interview. I went thru that, made it through the 5 hour online assessment and role play (which can only be scheduled M-F 8 to 5, so I'd like my vacation time back please), and even had a 3rd interview after that. I felt pretty good about my chances. Two weeks went by, and I didn't hear anything. So I reached out to the recruiter, who responded they went with another candidate, after 5 months of ME having to basically do their job for them. If this is how this company operates, I am THANKFUL I wasn't hired.
