I applied online and received an automatic email to schedule an interview. I had a 5-minute call with Guillermo, the Executive Recruiter of the company based in Mexico. As a Recruiter and HR person, I understand the need to lay down the dealbreakers upfront. However, I also think it's important to provide a good candidate experience, which, in my opinion, he failed to deliver. Since I was unable to start immediately, he insisted they needed to close this opening immediately in an attempt to make me change my mind regarding that. I explained that due to personal reasons I couldn't, so we ended the call, it lasted less than 10 minutes.
