This company contacted me via email with a generic email template, trying to convince me I had applied for their door to door sales position and they would like to setup an interview. I replied I had not applied, but please send more details. A month later and still no reply, I receive a phone call from the same lady telling me again that I applied. I stated I hadn't and she tried to move the conversation along by asking "am I looking for full time or part time work?". Very bizarre experience and terrible sourcing/recruitment strategy. I would advise better training for how to source (especially non-job seekers that haven't applied), starting with not seeking out mid-senior level management that did not apply, for a door to door sales job.
