Multiple rounds of interviews, I went back second time. Several folks interviewed over Zoom and everything perfectly lined up. Got the offer and was in negotiation with the recruiter and manager just decided to go the other way and bring an old buddy of his from 11 years ago. I feel ethics are violated, I even accepted the proposed offer and the manager decided to trump it. This is so unfair, I think it was done to satisfy legal requirement and compliance, they wasted so much of my time. What's interesting is, manager asked a lot about TRUST, how would I know if someone trust me only to betray my trust, huh! I would never recommend them again, they are so unethical!
