Recently had the opportunity to interview for the associate consultant position, and I wanted to share the experience. The interview process was thorough and well-structured, giving me a comprehensive understanding of the company's goals and expectations.

The interview process was lackluster and left me looking for other opportunities. The major flaw is that the interviewer was a recruiter (not a consultant) and lacked the job experience. Big contrast to leaders in consulting. Started with a phone call, 70% of which was a repetition of their website content. I'm unsure why, because a good candidate already has that covered. Not a lot of time or room for candidate's questions. Some generic questions from the interviewer (what is your strength?), leaving the impression that my CV was never opened. No specific questions. The second step was a "proper" interview consisting of multiple behavioral questions and a case. Overall the behavioral questions seemed very generic and copy-pasted from some website. No room for questions from the candidate. This was followed by a short case within the same call. It was not difficult, but it was not a MBB-style case either. I have not had the opportunity to speak with any of the consultants or receive feedback from them. I believe that the company is valuable, but this process could be improved.
