I submitted my technical task with the requested changes and a summary of my decisions as well as possible improvements. I do not recall if there was any unit testing both submitted or desired. The existing code was quite messy and not very high quality. It felt like a heavy reliance on their preferred libraries (which lacked decent documentation) - this would have been fine if told beforehand, but instead only led to frustration.
