It was almost a joke, I couldn't say it was an interview. The HR representative invited me for one hour interview (HR+technical) but when I joined I only met the HR representative because the technical guy had a personal issue. Ok, that's normal, but here comes the fan part. I had hundreds of interviews in my life but this time I had the feeling that the person I was talking to it is not listening. It was a video meeting so I could see that the lady was talking/writing on another screen and she was not looking or listening to me. When she was able to look at me and focus for some seconds she put me some questions (like what I dislike in a working environment). The one hour interview ended in about 20 minutes. When she asked me about the salary expectations I asked for the budget, to give me some limits, but the answer was "we don't have a budget for this", how is this possible? She was unable to formulate an offer, to say something interesting about the company and why they are interested in hiring me. I had the feeling that everything is a prank, but I said I will wait for one week maybe they will come back and ask for the technical interview. Today I received the email that they decided to continue with another candidate. Really, a waste of time.
