A full day assessment centre. The first half of the day consisting of a group task (30 minutes), a 2 hour test (half multiple choice & half essay type question), a 10 minute prepared presentation. Then we had lunch and half the group were told to leave as they did not make it to the second half of the assessment day. The second half consisted of another 2 hour test (Data Analysis type questions) and a face to face interview. Once this was all done we were sent home and told they would be in contact with us. Honestly this assessment centre was over the top in my opinion, I took part in three assessment days and got offered positions for both the other roles, but this one I did not. I feel like the focus was more on how well you dealt with answering test questions then practical skills. This was a very long day (9-4) for an assessment day.
