My experience with Flywheel was disappointing and far from professional. I applied in summer and was first contacted at the end of September for a 30-minute phone interview with someone from HR. Then, in late November, I had another 30-minute interview with a Senior Media Manager. Following this, I completed a case study, which was followed by another interview where I had to present and explain my case study.
Despite completing all these steps, I was informed that I wouldn’t receive a decision 5 months after. I attended yet another interview, and I was told I would get feedback the following day. However, I was only contacted six days later to be informed that my application was unsuccessful, with no explanation provided for the decision.
The entire process felt unnecessarily drawn out, unorganised, and like a waste of time. While I understand that recruitment processes can be lengthy, the lack of communication and respect for timelines made this a frustrating experience overall ... And the company is not as diverse as they have mentioned.

I found certain aspects of this process to be unprofessional.
The communication throughout the process started off consistent and timely but close towards the last few stages it inconsistent and left days without responses and often resulted in confusion regarding scheduling.
Despite providing my availability, there were multiple instances where scheduled times were changed last minute, causing inconvenience on my end.
The most notable instance of unprofessionalism After completing my review at 10am, I received no further communication throughout the day. It was unexpected to receive a message via WhatsApp at 11:13pm, asking for my availability for future interviews, with no acknowledgment of my response. Subsequent attempts to communicate were met with delays and ultimately culminated in a last-minute interview request on Friday afternoon, leaving me with minimal time to prepare and uncertain about the nature of the next stage.
The job description indicated a straightforward process involving only a thirty-minute call with the recruiter, a business manager call, and a case study. However, the actual process included several additional stages, which were not fully disclosed upfront, leading to a lack of transparency for candidates.
