Ghosted
The interview was relatively simple. I was asked some basic behavioral questions and then additional questions about my experience. The job was explained to me at a high level. The business was described at a high level. It was a very high-level conversation, which upon ending, we discussed a specific timeline for the next step. Although we discussed when and what the next step would be, I was then ghosted. I sent multiple follow ups, but no response. As I looked to see if others had a similar experience to myself, it was evident there is a strong pattern of ghosting. If you're not able to recruit recruiters, who have the highest level of empathy and understanding for your process, how will you be able to hire other talent?

I actually really enjoyed my interview process with Formation Bio, for the most part.
The TA team was excellent and responsive. The process is admittedly quite long (I think it had ~6 steps) and the recorded interviews make it feel far too formal. You don't really have an opportunity to actually connect with the interviewers, you're just thrown into rapid fire technical Q&A -- which is a shame because most of them seemed very personable and nice.
In my case, due to conflicting schedules, I was asked to speak with one of their senior People team members instead of the TA department head. This individual showed up late, ate and multi-tasked/was distracted for the entire interview, and had the call drop several times due to a poor connection on their end. I understand tech issues happen, but asking candidates to carve out several hours for a very long interview process only to eat during and not give your full attention for a single hour of conversation did not exactly get me excited to join the team. I get it, I may not have been the right fit for the company -- and that is totally fine! -- but to have made me feel less important than lunch or answering a few emails made it a thoroughly disappointing experience and I likely would not have taken the role even if offered.
While I can't imagine this is everyone's experience, and hope this criticism is constructive. I wish the team all the best, they have a very interesting company setup.

Meeting with five teammates total. Initial call with the talent manager, then zoom meetings with four teammates (4 total interviews, which is a total of two hours), the interview process took about 2 weeks.
