One of the worst interview experiences I've had.
At the very beginning of the process, I clearly communicated my expected salary to the HR team. Despite knowing my expectations, they proceeded with two rounds of interviews, including a lengthy HR discussion that lasted nearly an hour with multiple situational questions.
After investing all that time, they informed me that they couldn't offer anything close to my expected salary and could only provide a much lower package.
On top of that, I had to travel to their office for a face-to-face interview, which made the entire experience even more disappointing.
My simple question is: if the budget doesn't align with a candidate's expectations, why conduct multiple interview rounds and ask candidates to spend their time and effort? Respecting a candidate's time is just as important as respecting the company's hiring process.
