Recruiter contacted me online and we scheduled a phone call. Positive, 30-minute call. Recruiter asked me to send a resume and promised to schedule a call with hiring manager "in the next several days". Sent resume, no response. Followed up twice. No response. I know this is typical of recruiters but am still surprised: a recruiter's 'product' is their candidate network and when recruiters ghost candidates like this, the company gets a reputation, which negatively impacts their ability to source in the future.
