Candidatei-me online. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa GSK (Londres, Inglaterra).
Entrevista
Following online application, I had a phone interview a week after applying and was invited for an in-person interview 4 days after. The people were very friendly however, the interview process was very long and tiring. They didn't send the interview schedule and I was only made aware on the day so I wasn't prepared for the several interviews lined up. Before the interview was a tour of the labs. Then a presentation for the entire team (again, had no idea I was presenting to 15-20 people), then one on one with the PI and team member, then informal meeting with members of the team which is basically team members asking question which seemed pre-set. Then another interview with someone else, maybe hiring manager (too many people to remember their roles)? This was by far the most frustrating as the questions were open-ended and interviewer tried to steer my opinions. Finally, skype interview with a partner in the US. This was the best part as interviewer was receptive and genuinely interested in my background. By the end of the day I was completely drained. The interview process needs restructuring.

Great and speedy interview process consisting of 2 virtual rounds and 1 in person. Genuinely interested in my questions for a discussion on how it fits the vision for the role that I applied

Screening interview with HR then 45 min phone interview followed by full day onsite interview. Everyone was very nice and the technical questions were limited to your own research. Overall a pleasant experience.

Initial chat with a recruiter with standard procedure, mostly talking about the "logistics" of the job, e.g. salary range, location, etc. Then chat with hiring manager. After that I was invited to give a technical presentation, followed by about 6 different 1:1 or 1:2 interviews, the talk and interviews were conducted virtually. Lastly a site visit in person. Site visit included lunch and additional 1:1 conversations.

Many technical questions relating to the research I presented. There was also a lot of room for me to ask questions to the team.
