I was told they are impressed with my skills after reaching out to me over LinkedIn and scheduled a door for the first telephonic conversation wherein I was given an in-depth description about the company's whereabouts. The HR did ask about my previous work experience and the reason I'm looking forward to a job switch. She then asked me to seems across a revamped version of my CV over the email. After multiple follow ups, I was told my application has been put on hold. Suddenly, one fine morning, I receive a surprise call from the HR that asked me if I'd still be interested in applying for Gartner since there's a slight change in the job description. O said I don't mind it and I'm willing to interview for it. She then explained to me that I've to work on this case presentation before your application could be forwarded for the next round. So yeah, I worked on that as well and my video interview which was supposedly the 4th round was scheduled with the manager who I'd directly report to. The next day, I decided to leave a thank you note to the HR in order to be sure of the verdict. Two days later, I was sent a rejection mail. The entire process happened over a span of 7 weeks
