The first step was the usual phone screening. The interviewer asked me to write a review on glassdoor. Never had this experience before. Personality quiz and tagging candidates with labels was after that. The second interview was supposed to be 60 min but it extended to 90 min and the interviewer did not ask me if I can stay on the call nor was concerned about going overtime. The interviewer was not professional and was making inappropriate comments and asking personal questions that no one is supposed to ask in a job interview. At no point, he did not offer to answer any questions about the role or company, and ended his long list of questions/case with "I am busy now and need to work on other stuff". In the third step, they assigned a task that was time-consuming and outside any interview norm, I have ever been. I asked other people about their experience and they have never seen a similar thing. During the interview and the task, it felt like the interviewer does not have a good understanding of the technical issues and the solutions and needed to outsource the problem to someone else, but still, show that he is on top of things. After they received the time-consuming task, they never replied back, which is very different from what I have seen in years. In general, Givelify is a small company that is doing good for society but the interview process was anything but good or respectful.
