Candidatei-me pessoalmente. Fui entrevistado pela H&R Block (Kansas City, MO) em mar. de 2015
Entrevista
Hiring manager decided before any investigation that I didn't know what I was doing. I was an internal candidate, so it wasn't a traditional interview. The funny thing was: They more I offered and spoke, the more open he was. He said with surprise - this was better than I thought it was going to be. (referencing my portfolio) Then it was: I'm surprised, you speak so eloquently about design. The last critique was a comment that I didn't have anything recent in my portfolio (I had been working in an adjacent field for 2 years and so this break was accounted for.) He assumed that I could not create something modern. Unfortunately the position was closed due to reorganization before I could dispel this notion. This manager had a very negative starting point.

They didn't. They just told me what they were looking for. They never asked to see any work.

A very professional and friendly environment with a small team of individuals who seemed quite supportive. Uncertain about the opportunities for growth. The biggest con for me was the strict number of hours and lack of flexibility - just wasn't right at that time.
