Started with phone screen. Original contact person was very pleasant and friendly. Then after agreeing to interview with a client, they switched my contact person unexpectedly with no explanation. The info they provided for the interview was wrong - talk about feeling stupid when you ask for someone at the site and the receptionist furrows her brow in confusion and says "do you mean (someone else's name)? “ great start to an interview*face palm* I was able to recover by making a joke about someone's poor penmanship to recover and after the company established wanting to hire me, they lowballed my salary and it took several counters to get it to be ACCEPTABLE. Then to make matters worse, the offer letter had careless spelling mistakes on both my title and hourly rate. Had to ask for it to be redone. Really?! How is this professional? Fast forward to being on the job, nothing pertinent came about until the company wanted to hire me in. Havard Resources reneged on their initial terms and argued with me that the contract was for 90 WORKING days, not calendar days. 90 working days is about another 5 weeks under contract. In what world does anyone work under the clause "working days"? Your cell phone contract, your car note... It's all related to calendar days, not business (working) days. Way to rigidly milk the cow. The whole ordeal screamed "bait & switch tactic" and I realized I could never endorse this firm in good faith. Their practices need some serious refinement in professionalism and professional courtesy. I would hate for anyone to have this sort of poor customer service happen upon them, so if you decide to work for this firm, beware... Get all your terms in writing and make sure it is VERY SPECIFIC.
