There seems to be something magical about working in the public sector; kind of a calling or something. The fact is, most people never consider the public sector because its boring unimaginative work. The people who are there; seem well versed in retirement planning and all of the entitlement benefits right down to all of the silly holidays they get off. The answer is "I've always wanted to work in the public sector but never found a good match until now".
