Overall, it was a great interview experience. The process involved multiple stages and gave me the opportunity to meet and speak with people at all levels of the company, from the hiring manager and potential teammates to a director and even a cofounder. The recruiter was highly responsive and consistently kept me informed throughout the process. The use and knowledge of AI were encouraged and viewed positively. In addition to conversations, I was given a take-home coding assignment. Most interviews focused on discussing my previous work experience and diving into projects I’ve worked on.

WORST INTERVIEW EVER. Introduction interview ended after 3 minutes. We joined a google meets call, mind you the interviewer was late (>5 minutes) with no camera on and told me to speak up (my microphone and everything has been okay on other interviews). He then asked me what is Hinge Health is about. I gave a brief introduction of what I interpreted the company to be, but the interviewer interrupted and said "oh you didn't do your research about the company" and "that is not a good first impression" and then hung up the call. I have interviewed at numerous other companies and most of the time the first interview is a conversation between the interviewer and interviewee going over what the company is about and seeing if both sides see fit. Never in my life have I had this happen. Definitely dodge a bullet, considering the first minute didn't even start well.

Overall my experience has been pretty good. They have been very kind & supportive throughout the entire process. The Interview process consists of 5 rounds in total.3 technical & 1 managerial round & last round is leadership round.
