I referred back to my experience with Project Managers and how quickly they recognised me as a subject matter expert who they could turn to within their own delivery team. I am a diplomatic type of person and always try to see an issue from another persons point of view. With this approach, I would present financial evidence in a form that was easy to understand, and if there was any way I could help them, I would be their conduit to the Finance department.
