I'd say the 1st awnser you need to listen to the customer and understand the problem first be calm and smile help the customer the best you can and if unsure ask for advice from a college appolacise to the customer and be as helpful and confident as you can

Essentially listen to the customer and establish how to move forward. Try to ask questions based upon what you have heard
