I always think that explaining the reasoning behind your answer is the most important thing. When you have done everything in your power to facilitate a guest's request but you are still unable to provide the outcome they desire, speaking to them on a personal level and helping them understand the reasoning behind the answer and explaining why their request just isn't possible is important for maintaining good relations with said guest and upholding a good guest experience.
