Try to figure out the trigger, calm the client down. You might need to exit to protect yourself first

I would separate the client from the situation, try to figure out or ask them (depending on there level on communication) what there trigger was and try my best to calm them down in a proper way. I’ve learned that sometimes you have to give them space for them to calm down also. If it was severe enough, I would ask for help with the client.
