How do you handle rejection?

Rejection is part of sales. I see it as feedback, not failure. I stay positive and move on to the next opportunity without letting it affect my energy. I constantly follow up with my no’s over time because they typically just mean “not right now & not a true no.” By consistently following up it lets my prospects know that I’m consistent. Being from IT SALES, I’m very accustomed to long term follow-up and use each customer interaction as an opportunity to learn more about my prospect and try to uncover something with each call. Sometimes is contact info and sometimes it personal info like their birthday- all which can be input into my crm and used to stay in touch often. Data is king and a rejection is just an opportunity to add to my data.
