I was seeing it for the very first time, so I didn’t really have an answer. But after thinking about it, Blue Origin’s brand new HQ cannot really be called a “building”. It seems to be an “arched” aircraft hanger-like structure arranged in a ‘U’ shaped footprint. A series of rooms (rest, meeting, kitchens, etc) run the length of each long section under the highest point of the arch. Side by side desks are arranged in rows running from the outer walls inward. The ‘open’ employee workspace looks like the 80’s movie version of Orwell’s ‘1984’, but WITHOUT cube walls. Believing people, even “smart” people, can “build a road to space“ while working in such conditions is nothing short of pure delusion. Astronauts traveling to space on roads paved with such astroturf will do so in great peril.
