Hello, yes, the process is very long. I had confirmation in Februray and I still haven't received the contract. It takes time because they check all your background. Take care.

No, first they ask for many documents proving your professional background: contracts, pay slips, working attestations... With that, they determine your grade and establish the contract. Once the term of the contract are accepted, you undergo a medical exam and a personal background check by an external company ; but I haven't been that far yet.

@bom once you've succeeded the technical interview (first one) you are considered as competent and you won't have anymore technical assessments during the process.

From your post (thanks for it!) I understand that there is no (additional) technical interview taking place in the face-to-face meeting, is that correct? In one of your comments above, you already describe the procedure after the face-to-face meeting. Can you shed some more light on that? Assuming, I completed the face-to-face meeting, what will happen next?
