I explained that I use a mix of time-blocking and impact analysis. I start by identifying which tasks are business-critical or time-sensitive, then I assess who’s waiting on what and what the downstream impact will be if it’s delayed. I also mentioned that I believe in empowering team members to take ownership of lower-level tasks so I can stay focused on high-level decisions and urgent escalations.
