I have been in retail 20+ years and have experience in both small specialty stores as well as large department stores. My retail experience has been with ALL aspects of retail from associate to management (not on paper) including 2 years of "Mentoring" at a major department store. This mentoring was basically training new hires to be successful on the sales floor. ALL of my trainees were successful in their chosen sales departments and frequently looked to me for questions and guidance during their employment.
