How much do you know already about network security?

Although I do not have a background in network security, here are the things I am doing to catch myself up to speed:

1. Market research and exploring the product space of the Top 5 competitors (CISCO, Fortinet, Palo Alto)

2. Reading CompTIA Network+ textbook to understand the basics of routers, switches, firewalls, etc. 

3. Reading through Juniper's product portfolio (their sales decks, tech documentation, and white papers are all available online on their website)

4. Reading upon academic journals and publications to explore up and coming advances in network technology

There's a lot of elements to typically cover in these questions, clarifications, scoping, making sure you're answering the actual question the interviewer is looking for you to answer, etc.


Could be worth doing a mock interview with one of the Prepfully Juniper Networks  Product Manager experts... they've worked in the role so they clearly know how to get through the interview.
