Even if they ask you this question do not give a specific answer. Say something like I don't really have an exact number What is more important to me is consistency. ie: I would like to be able to work at least 4-5 (or whatever number) shifts a week on a consistent basis because I am looking for a place that hopefully I will have the opportunity to work for on a long-term basis. Ie: I don't really have an exact number but I only need enough to pay rent and some bills.... I am more concerned about being able to have a consistent number of shifts per month so that I can cover the basics. Having some left over for fun spending would be an added bonus.
