How will you handle an irate customer?

If I encounter an irate customer, I will first remain calm and professional. I’ll listen actively to let them express their concern without interrupting, and I’ll acknowledge their frustration by saying something like, I understand how upsetting this must be for you. Then, I’ll focus on finding a solution by asking clarifying questions and offering options that can resolve the issue. If it’s beyond my capacity, I will escalate it to the right department while assuring the customer that I’ll stay with them until their concern is addressed. My goal is to turn a negative experience into a positive one by staying patient, respectful, and solution oriented.
