I constantly check for student understanding and reward students who ask questions or who request a different explanation. I watch the student's for their facial expressions and body language and I make sure to mix up my teaching methods to include written assignments, physical labs/exercises, group projects, use of PowerPoints and extra-curricular material which can reach a variety of students.
