Without knowing anything about the machine: I would begin with the basics and look at the tracking, i.e. check that the conveyor belt is not overly worn and is running true. Then check the hardware the belt runs on to verify it, too, is aligned. Check the spacing of the where the board rides in, and continue my inspection from there.
