I would begin by reaching out to each feeder school on the middle school level. Being present consistently at each middle school band program would increase the likelihood of being apart of our band program as an incoming freshman. Next, I would focus on the program's exposure by participating in major events and competitions. Lastly, I would focus on increasing the musicianship responsibilities of students so that students will be able to perform more difficult music and become more well-round musicians.
