How would you handle a conflict between employees

I would go to each employee neutrally to hear each side of the situation separately and with an open ear. I would try to understand the reasons the employee reacted the way they did and the affects the decisions made by the employee have or will have. And in each case, I would recommend a calm and effective way to work and coincide in the same areas of work respectively without another situation arising hopefully. I would also lay out realistic expectations to both parties involved as to what to expect as far as conciquences good and or bad that will be put in to place if another situation does in fact arise.
