Let the interviewe know t I was already working in a combined IT and Operations role and the basics were the same for both. Planning woud be based around: 1. Priority/urgency. Is this project highly essential to the running of the company now, or is this a smaller improvement that could improve productivity over time. 2. The needs of the staff members. By booking planning meetings and having regular contact with the staff member who has proposed the project and their colleagues, the project can be better tailored to their needs rather than just approximating what we think they need. 3. The needs of the company. What aspects of the proposal would needs to be altered to be more cost effective/time effective?
