I referenced looking at different countries and official observances, national events, worldwide charitable dates etc but most importantly, I highlighted the importance of collaborating with other people. I believe there's a lot to learn from collaborating with other staff members and getting to know your department (even your whole organization) and my greatest strength comes from collaborating with others. Apparently the feedback I got was that I needed direction from others and I wouldn't have been able to manage myself (needing a manager to supervise me) but my answer was in fact misinterpreted as I can clearly work on my own, however, as a creative it's best to work with others and keep the imagination alive. To have my answer taken in the wrong context shows that the manager has a poor idea of what creative collaboration means and how they need further work to understand the importance of collaboration and how beneficial it is for coworkers to work together.
