Initial commuication by HR was great but after that it was like pulling teeth. Large delays in response and i was always the one reaching out. After back and forth with continued delays finally had a interview via phone with an EA in CA that call was great. Had second call via skype with a PM who clearly was mad that she had to interview me the day before thanksgiving, who proceeded to ask me if i had any experience. It was evident that she never read my resume or my skill sheet. When i asked her about her moving up in the company (as i reviewed her linkedin before hand) she stated very directly that i should NOT look at her career trajectory as a path because not all have those types of goals. I thanked each person for their time and waited. I followed up with HR to reinstate my ability for the job and received a quick email back saying they decided on someone else. I understand that you decided on another but having people wait to run you down and be ghosted is unprofessional, have respect and contact the individual and let them know, especially after 5 weeks of interviewing.
