Screening was done by phone, then we farted around with a videoconference using their video conferencing server. I had difficulty connecting to them because I usually don't use a webcam on my computer; but once I started working there I realized that they often have problems with their web conferencing server. The owner of the company came across as a hothead, and in real life, I realized that his mercurial personality set the entire staff on edge. He would be nice one minute, an enraged tyrant the next. I should have taken the web conference interview as a warning.
